This Monument Home built in 1735 is well situated, and a perfect home away from home for families or 2 couples traveling together. Owner operated for over 15 years with personal approach and integrity. Ground and first floor, spacious open rooms, no difficult staircase. No animals or tobacco smoke, and well maintained from season to season.It is a 5 minute walk from the Anne Frank House and a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central train station. There are two bus and two tram lines around the corner, but most of Amsterdam is accessible on foot, the best way to see the city.
Neighbourhood/Location
This is the heart of the Jordaan, downtown Amsterdam Centre’s most quaint and beloved district.You will see why this neighbourhood is appreciated by tourists as well as locals with an abundance of galleries, food shopping, clothes shopping, second hand clothing, flowers, wine, cheese, bakeries, music venues, exercise facilities and lovely canal walks.
The Anne Frank House and the Westerkerk are a 5 minutes walk away and, on the nearby Noordermarkt, there are 2 traditional outdoor markets on Saturdays and Mondays. The neighbourhood also still maintains a traditional, weekly outdoor, fruit and vegetable stall when weather permits.
Also within walking distance is Westerpark where there is a public swimming pool and open park, a wading pool for children in the summer months, restaurants and music venues and, where you can have a barbecue and listen to an outdoor concert.

The two spacious bedrooms are on the upper floor with a full bathroom.One bedroom has a double and single and the other has a double. Both have ample storage space for clothes, mirrors and reading lamps.The bedroom with one double and one single bed also has a children’s wash up sink, which is an old dutch tradition.
The bathroom has full bath, shower, 2 sinks and toilet.
Kitchen
Well equipped kitchen which is very comfortable and spacious with a large wooden table with 6 chairs, full refrigerator, stove and oven; dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, wine and beer glasses, etc.From the big kitchen windows you can see the market stalls on Saturday afternoons while, during the week, you can watch the neighbours and their children going to school on their bikes.

Where and how do I get the keys to the property?
Your confirmation mail will include the telephone number to contact the greeter/owner upon arrival at the airport or train station. You can arrange a time to meet the contact person at the property to make payment and get the keys
