There are also several free ferries from the island to Central Station.
The area is perfect for exploring by bike, with fantastic modern architecture and places of interest an easy cycle away, such as NDSM Wharf, a former shipyard which plays host to numerous markets, cultural events and dance parties, and has a number of great cafes and restaurants including the charming Noorderlicht Cafe, serving organic food with a wonderful view of the water.
The accommodation is ideal for families with plenty of green space and a children’s playground in the vicinity.
